Our PCSOs

Travelling by bus is not just one of the easiest ways of getting about the city, but one of the safest too.

Incidents of crime are very rare thanks to initiatives such as CCTV and at Newport Bus we are the only bus operator in the UK to employ a dedicated team of PCSOs to maintain the safety and well being of our passengers and drivers and make sure that your journey is a pleasant and happy one.

Our PCSOs patrol routes and travel aboard buses providing a reassuring presence and ensuring that our buses are amongst the safest in the UK to travel aboard.

If a problem does arise then they are able to quickly resolve it with the support of Gwent Police who also work closely with Newport Bus to put passenger safety first.
