Free Travel for Newport County v Man City Ticket Holders

On Saturday 16th February ticket holders for the Manchester City FA Cup can receive free travel on our network of bus services, including those services operating in Monmouthshire, Torfaen and Cardiff.

All ticket holders have to do is show their match ticket to the driver on boarding one of our services. If you have an all Wales Welsh Government Concessionary Pass this will still be scanned as normal.

Scott Pearson, Managing Director said "As the City’s principal bus operator we would like as many ticket holders as possible to make use of this free travel to remove concerns over parking, allowing fans the ability to enjoy an afternoon/evening in the City Centre restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars."

“After seeing the dedication of Newport County fans over the weekend queuing for hours in inclement weather we would like to offer free travel to Newport County v Man City ticket holders on Saturday 16 February as a small token of our appreciation for their dedication.

This fantastic cup run has created a real buzz around the City and we hope to play a small part in adding to this fantastic atmosphere that will be carried into Rodney Parade for the big game."

We would also love our Twitter Feed - @NewportBus - to be filled with pictures of fans going to the game. Tweet us using #AmberArmyBus along with your pictures.
