Newport Bus launches a new website

Customers of Newport Bus in Newport are benefitting from the latest in transport technology with a new website delivered by Passenger, the creators of the highest-rated app mobility software in the UK.
Launched on April 20th, the website includes easy to understand journey planning, disruption notifications, live bus tracking with enhanced vehicle information including information on accessibility features (such as wheelchair space availability) and vehicle type (double-deck, electric, livery…).
Newport Bus serves nearly 8 million customers every year as the main provider of bus services in the city of Newport. In operation for over 100 years, they run over 40 services throughout Newport and to Cardiff, Cwmbran, Chepstow and Monmouth.
