Discover the Newport Medieval ship, which was unearthed on the bank of the River Usk during the build of the Riverfront Theatre. The timber was recovered and underwent a lengthy conservation process so that the remains of the ship can be admired by everyone.
Managed by the volunteer group Friends of the Newport Ship, the exhibition centre is open every Saturday 10.30 am until 4.00 pm and will be running events on weekdays.
The exhibition includes a display of the timber and a representation of what the ship would have looked like in its full glory.
