  • Clarence Place Closed Between 07:00-14:00 on Sunday 19th October Affecting Routes 5, 9A, 9C, X60, 73 and 74

    On Sunday 19 October 2025, Clarence Place will be closed affecting routes 5, 9A, 9C, X60, 73 and 74 affecting Newport Cenotaph and Maindee Library bus stops.

    During this time buses will be diverted:

    Route 9A will divert via Church Road, Summerhill Avenue, Albert Avenue, then left into Maindee Square where it will then operate its normal route.

    Route 9C will divert via Church Road, Summerhill Avenue, Albert Avenue, then right towards Newport City Centre and left onto Harrow Road where it will operate its normal route.

    Route 5 at 13:02 will divert via Church Road, Summerhill Avenue, First right onto Albert Avenue, then left onto Maindee Square where it will operate its normal route.

    Routes X60, 73,74 will divert via Church Road, Summerhill Avenue, take the first right onto Albert Avenue, then left into Maindee Square where it will resume its normal route.

  • Heidenhien Drive will be closed effecting service 60

    6th - 28th Oct 2025

    From Monday 6th October to Friday 15th October Heidenhiem Drive will be closed from 20:00 each day effecting service 60.

    The 19:37 and 21:18 services from Monmouth will be diverted via Caerleon Road and over Newport Bridge.

    The 20:10 from Newport will divert over Newport Bridge and onto Caerleon Road and then resume normal route to Monmouth.
