Temporary Accounts Assistant (3 months' contract)

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you'll be key to ensuring financial administration processed accurately and efficiently. 

Main responsibilities:

  • Assist the Financial Controller in all aspects of the day to day accounts and financials
  • Support the sales and purchase ledger functions
  • Prepare monthly accruals and prepayments
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Complete general Ledger reconciliations
  • Assist with financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash flow forecasting
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly reports.
  • Ensure all processes comply with company policies and financial regulations.
  • To liaise and cooperate with other departments of the company and external bodies as appropriate.
  • Experience of using Sage will be an advantage
  • Any other ad-hoc duties required by the business

Required skills:

  • Knowledge and experience of working within a finance environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Proficient use of Microsoft packages
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexibility to adapt to change
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the business
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
