Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you'll be key to ensuring financial administration processed accurately and efficiently.
Main responsibilities:
- Assist the Financial Controller in all aspects of the day to day accounts and financials
- Support the sales and purchase ledger functions
- Prepare monthly accruals and prepayments
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Complete general Ledger reconciliations
- Assist with financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash flow forecasting
- Assist in the preparation of monthly reports.
- Ensure all processes comply with company policies and financial regulations.
- To liaise and cooperate with other departments of the company and external bodies as appropriate.
- Experience of using Sage will be an advantage
- Any other ad-hoc duties required by the business
Required skills:
- Knowledge and experience of working within a finance environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- Proficient use of Microsoft packages
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to change
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the business
- Ability to work as part of a team.
