Located in the west of the City, Tredegar House is one of the National Trust properties. It stands in a magnificent 90-acre park, with a combination of a serpentine lake, woodland and sweeping lawns.

The open green space is popular with family for a picnic and those who want to have a kick about. The woodland is the perfect place for a moment of quiet or a game of hide-and-seek. The park is also favoured by runners, providing a running route with a mix of open space and shaded woods.

The play area is now fully open. Activities will be taking place all over the summer to keep you and the whole family entertained. Make sure you visit their website to check out the activities.

The local businesses on site are Busy Bees Patchwork, Growing Space, Isca Woodcrafts, Marcus Music and Sero Zero Waste - you can find details on their opening hours on social media.

The access is easy with Newport Bus - Route 35/36 - stop Nightingale Court. This is less than a 5-minute walk away from the entrance.
