Closure of A466 at Redbrook: 5 May until 26 June 2026

The A466 will be closed between Redbrook and Bigsweir from 5 May until 26 June 2026. 

(The closure dates have been amended from previous information)

As a result route 69 will operate divert at Redbrook via Incline Road, Newland, Clearwell and Stowe to rejoin the route just before Bigsweir Bridge.  The diversion will apply in both directions.

At Redbrook buses will stop at the bottom of Incline Road near Brewery Terrace.  The bus will also stop along the diversionary route so if you're travelling to/from Clearwell, Newland or Stowe - welcome onboard.

There will be changes to the timetable to accommodate the additional time needed for the diversion. Please check the time of you bus as some journeys will leave earlier.

With direct access to the Offa’s Dyke Path, the Wye Valley Walk, Monmouthshire Way as well as many short circular walks, this route is packed with ways to stretch your legs. Fancy a little more of relaxing day? Then just hop on the bus, sit back and take in the views.
