On 6 September 2025, you can explore the Wye Valley National Landscape by bus for free!
We're delighted to be working in partnership with Herefordshire Wildlife Trust and the Wye Valley National Landscape to bring you this fantastic opportunity to discover this beautiful and diverse landscape. Routes 65 & 69 will be free all day, no need to book, just hop on board. The offer is part of the Day of Action for Nature and Climate which will see special events running throughout the day - and there's something for everyone.
We also excited to launch our new Exploring the Wye Valley By Bus map and guide which includes a map of the area highlighting attractions, walking routes, places to eat as well full times for routes 65 & 69. You can download the guide here of pick one up on the day.

Newport Bus would like to thank Herefordshire Wildlife Trust and the Wye Valley National Landscape for funding the free travel offer and to the Friends of the 65 Bus who are passionate about supporting their local service.
Please note there may be some minor delays due to the Lloyd's Tour of Britain Cycle Race. We'll do our best to keep disruption to a minimum. The only major change to the timetable will be that the 12:06 route 65 bus from Monmouth will operate direct via direct to Chepstow via the A466 Wye Valley Road.
