Newport Wetlands National Nature Reserve lies between the Severn Estuary and the River Usk on the South Wales coast. It encompasses wetland, reedbed and estuary habitats, for you to observe a variety of waders and reed feeders birds.
Viewings points, 4 main trails and children's activities are available on the reserve. It is owned and managed by Natural Resources Wales, working in partnership with RSPB Cymru, Newport City Council and others, for the benefit of wildlife and people.
The reserve is open 9 till 5pm and the shop and café are between 10 am and 4 pm. Activities will take place throughout the summer. Make sure you visit their website below to see what's happening.
